Bernie  was a shelter cat who jumped right out at me. He is a wonderful little boy who loves to play and and snuggle with his mommy.

Bodie  is a Havanese puppy that was born in Indiana and now lives in Kentucky. He loves to cuddle, lick every person he comes across, pick up anything he can find outside and play with his favorite stuffed dog. He will do anything for a treat – which has been great for his puppy obediences classes and for teaching him new tricks! He is so calm, sweet, and smart and has been the greatest addition in our lives!

Name: Tybo
Age: Five months old
Gender: Male
Kind: Cockatiel
Home: St. Petersburg, Russia
Hello! My cockatiel very Cutie and sociable. Tybo came us not so long ago. But he is already very tender and gentle. He sings to me and plays different games with me. Despite his young age, he is well trained and has heard the command “on the hand!” so he will step onto my hand and I can take him out of his cage, or put him back in!
He has a very beautiful color. He has mottled the feathers on the back and red cheeks, and even grey “vest” on the chest. And of course, he has a long and yellow crest as a proper cockatiel should! He is very active and agile bird! I’m already loving him very much!

Name: Boomer
Age: Four years old
Gender: Male
Breed: American Bulldog
Home: Meriden, Connecticut, USA
When my husband and I decided our house was not a home without a furry companion, we decided to look into a rescue dog, as so many need good homes. We talked about it from time to time, but when my stepdaughter Laura got wind of us thinking about adding a four-legged member to our household, she was on a mission. She had gotten her special guy Bo from a shelter in Stratford Connecticut, and he was a gem, so naturally, that was where she started. She found a picture of “Relic” (the shelter had named him), an American Bulldog and my husband thought he was just the coolest looking guy.
We found out they were having an adoption fair that very Saturday so we drove down to meet him. We found out that the poor guy had just been tied up to a tree and left, no food, no water. He was bigger than we thought, all muscle and when the woman brought him out to meet us, we thought for sure he was just too much dog for us. We went for a walk and after he calmed a little he was very nice, but my husband thought he would be too much for us to handle. We walked away, but I kept thinking about him. Finally Tuesday, I asked him what he was thinking about and he told me he was thinking about the dog … So was I.
I called the shelter the next day, and he was still available so we went down that night and brought home “Boomer“. Somehow, we just did not see this guy as Relic. He was perfect the whole way home, slept on his new bed the whole night and fit in with us immediately. Unfortunately, in the beginning he had some separation issues and after trashing a couple doors, 8 screens, one window and countless curtains, we finally gained his trust and he realized we would always come back home for him. He has been the light of our lives and keeps us laughing all the time!! He loves his covers at night, his toys and our neighbors Doberman named Micah who is his best doggie pal, but most of all he loves to snuggle. He thinks he weighs in at ten pounds, so he hauls his 75-pound body into our laps on a regular basis. Bets of all, he loves hugs. If you wrap both arms around him, he just melts right into you. This is the mushiest dog of all time and we love him so very much!!

Name: Eloise
Age: Two months old
Gender: Female
Kind: Tuxedo Shorthair
Home: El Paso, Texas, USA
This is my kitten Eloise.  I first met her before she was born, there was this stray cat I was putting food out for she would come every day to visit. Then one day when I came home from school I saw she had four kittens! One of them was my Eloise, I was so happy I had always wanted a kitten and now I had four of them. Sadly their mom left and she never came back, I searched everywhere but there was no sign of her anywhere. So that day I brought Eloise and her sister and two brothers in and I made them a bed and was bottle feeding them every day. It was hard work keeping track of the four of them, but it was all worth it!
Now I have these hyper little kittens running all over my house. Of them all, Eloise is the quiet one and loves to have her picture taken. I think she just looks so perfect with her little mittens! I love Eloise very much!
