Hello, I am Dexterthe cat. This is a picture of me looking very dapper! I really am very funny, always running, jumping and chasing anything I can find. I love to attack feet when nobody is expecting it! My family think I am the cutest thing around!

My name is Kuma(Alaskan malamute.) I live in Manhattan. Don’t worry, I get a lot of exercise and I make sure my parents keep the home at a balmy 60 degrees! My sister, Chloe, and I wrestle all the time. I also have a girlfriend, Riley, that I snuggle, kiss, and play with. I’m looking forward to winter to play in the snow and pull my sister in a sled. Some of my favorite things are peanut butter, ice cubes, howling, and leaves blowing in the wind.

Name: Masse
Age: Ten years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Draft, Warmblood cross
Home: Molnlycke, Sweden
This is my horse Masse but I like to call him Masseman or Massemammoth (often in the winter because he get shaggy and really looks like mammmoth then). We live in Molnlycke not far from Gothenburg in Sweden. He is a gelding, and is ten years old. He is a crossbreed between draft horse and warmblood. He has a heart of gold and is more like a big dog than a horse for me. If he is free, he follows after me like a shadow. And if I put my hand in front of his mouth, he licks at it like a dog! But he is reallly afraid of anyone else’s hands or anything near his head because his olds owners hit him. We are competing in show jumping now, quite often with mostly good results.
People often say that he is lazy, fat, can’t jump, clumsy and slow but those are not true! He looks stocky because he is half draft horse! He always has loads of energy when I ride him. Masse is a greedy-guts, he eat everything he can and more. He even tried to eat my glasses once! I have taught him some tricks; he can kiss, raise one front leg and I have started to teach him to bow. But unfortunately we discovered Masse is allergic to gnats, and when they bite him he scratches himself so his mane and tail falls out. But it always grows back over the winter, so he looks good again! I think he is glad for winter to come!

Name: Otis
Age: Eight years old
Gender: Male
Breed: Chocolate Labrador Retriever
Home: North Wales, United Kingdom
Otis is a very cute, loving and loyal dog, but sadly Otis had a bad start to life as he had a poor first home, and got rescued as he was left locked in a shed. I have now owned Otis for about five years and he now lives a happy and enjoyable life. Otis is friendly towards all people, but he doesn’t get along with other dogs!
Otis loves to jump over the horse poles in my field and he knows the tricks shake and lie. He also loves for you to kick the football and he loves to play chase and catch.
Otis enjoys to go on long walks up the mountain and he loves to eat his salmon flavored biscuits for his tea more than anything else. He also likes to guard his home by barking up at the gate at passing by dogs and he loves to pose for the camera!

Name: Eko
Age: Two years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Domestic Shorthair
Home: Lubbock, Texas, USA
We adopted Eko (pronounced “echo”) from our vet, where he was abandoned in a box on their doorstep along with his littermates. We met him at four months of age, but ended up adopting another cat that day. When we heard he still needed a home at six months of age, we decided we would love another cat and adopted this handsome “panther.”
Eko is the most delightful combination of laid back and playful. He loves to be held and snuggled. In the late afternoon, when the other three cats are sleeping, he will come to the kitchen (where I am usually preparing dinner) and look up at me with his big saucer eyes and give the sweetest little meow that says, “Please give me some love.” I scoop him up and pet him as he kneads against my chest and gives the best purr mixed with a trill. I call it his “turbo purr.” He has all sorts of trills that he uses for different occasions, especially to let the other cats know that he would like to be chased. He taught our newest cat to play chase in no time flat.
Eko loves to keep himself entertained by playing soccer with little puff balls. When they all end up under the dryer, he leads me to the laundry room to retrieve them for him. For such a laid back fellow, he has us all well trained.
Eko is my big, silky soft snuggle boy. I’m so glad we went back and adopted him.

I found my kitten, because I was unsure of the sex for a while I named her Kittee, in the back seat of my car. She was a stray and we just found her there. After lots of begging, I got to keep her, and now she’s my best friend…

Hi, I’m Charlie(pomeranian.) Hidden beneath this adorable 3 pounds of fluff is a mischievous little monster ready to take over the world. I use my looks to my advantage and captivate people before I swindle them. Sometimes, it may be their shoes. Other times, it may be their wallets. Whatever it is, it will happen before you know it. Despite my tiny little legs, I am surprisingly fast.

Name:
Fluffy
Age:
Eleven weeks old
Gender:
Male
Kind:
Dwarf Lop Rabbit
Home:
Mern, Vordingborg, Denmark
Fluffy is my rabbit, he is a dwarf lop and is just a baby. What makes my pet special is he’s very fluffy, curious and loves to explore the world by climbing or jumping. He’s not afraid, not even our dog scares him.
I have had two rabbits before him (two girls, Pinot and Pomkin) and well, I think that my little sister missed having rabbits jumping around in the garden, so she talked our mother into going out to buy one for her! We just recently got him, he’s very fluffy and soft. He’s actually not afraid of anything, which is surprising for a baby rabbit. When we hold him, he likes to climb up and sit at our shoulders. I think he likes that because he likes to have a good view over where he is! Almost every time he sees something higher than him, he tries to climb it, it is very cute! We all love him very very much (even though our dog envies him for all the attention he gets, but they are buddies).

Name:
Alice
Age:
Two years old
Gender:
Female
Breed:
Tibetan Spaniel
Home:
Sweden
Alice is very playful and always follows everyone around, she really loves people and especially the family members, my boyfriend, his mom, dad and sister, and me.
She does beg for food a lot, whilst staying on her back legs and doing a begging motion with her front paws (see picture). She usually gets a lot of food because everyone think she is so cute when she does it, and this has made her kind of fat for her breed.
My boyfriend’s dad used to breed Tibetan Spaniels before, but he stopped a couple of years ago. Since then they had another Tibetan Spaniel named Lisa, but she died at the age of almost eighteen in 2009, just before I met my boyfriend. They decided to get another about a half a year later, early in 2010. They know a old couple that breeds Tibbys, so Alice has a pedigree and everything. Her birth-name is Loretta’s fast lady. We tried placing her in a competition once, because her family members have won many prizes, but the judges though she was too fat.
She loves to play fetch, but only if she feels like it. If she is not in the mood of playing she just lies there and gives you a “are you crazy? I’m not going to chase that”- look. She does know a few tricks, of which I have taught her myself, since I am the most patient of us humans. she knows sit, sit up (on her backlegs), hop up (stand on the back legs), lie down and paw. She does recognize the family members’ names and a few other words like home, kitty, doggie and “is Alice coming with us?” She hates being left alone, so when she notices that we are on our way without her, she goes away with her tail between her legs and hides beneath the bed.
She does not like being brushed, but she lets us do it anyway. The long hair on her ears get easily tangled though. When we wash her, all of her fur (especially the fur on the ears) gets curly/waffled, and many have asked if we do this with a curl-iron, but its her natural curls! She hates having her claws trimmed though, she screams really loud and tries to run away.
We recently found out that she got a disease from a tick bite, and we are feeding her medicine that she is responding well to. She gets it together with meat so that she will eat it, but she has discovered that she can eat the meat and then spit out the medicin again, so it takes a while to get her to eat it. Silly Alice, it is to make you feel better!
She brings a lot of joy to everyone all around and I think that she is worthy to be honored!

Name:
Gizmo
Age:
One year old
Gender:
Female
Kind:
Sphynx Cat
Home:
Phoenix, Arizona, USA
Gizmo is an adventurous and loving cat! She loves to climb, explore, snuggle, and sit on your shoulder! She is very spoiled and she knows she’s the princess. Sometimes she can be found hidden under blankets, in boxes, or inside of random bags that she finds! On some mornings, you may find stuffed animals or random objects scattered around the floors that she plays with when no one is looking. She’s very mischievous, loving, and an amazing part of the family!
Gizmo is our second cat and our very first Sphynx. We received her from a relative who could not keep her and took her to accompany our first cat. She’s very hyper and playful and loves to play with all kinds of toys. She and our other cat always chase each other around the house day and night. When she isn’t playing, she will find someone who is sitting down or lying down and fall asleep under their neck without any hesitation, happily purring. She has a strange fascination for feet. She rubs against anyone’s feet, sits inside of our shoes, and plays with socks that she steals from our bedrooms. Another favorite thing to do for her is sitting in a window and feeling the Arizona sun on her skin. She loves to stay warm and sunbathe when she is in lazy mode! If the sun is down, she’ll resort to sitting next to heated computers or under one of the table lamps.
She loves to take her weekly baths (since Sphynx’s are very high maintenance) and run around the house to dry off afterwards! Exploring is another one of her hobbies. When we moved apartments, we would have hard times finding her in one of the many unpacked boxes! I have found her inside grocery bags, inside cabinets, at the top of my closet, under the couch cover, behind the television, or buried in laundry baskets! She is definitely an adventurer!
She is slightly shy to new people who come into the house, but once she meets them, she instantly falls in love. Many guests who cringe at the thought of a hairless cat change their minds instantly when they get to hold or play with Gizmo. She gives everyone loving nudges and has no problem sitting on anyone’s shoulders or chests. When we are in the living room watching tv, she always comes and sits on someone, watching the tv as well.
Gizmo is very proud and she knows she is adorable. She even has a slight strut when she walks around! She constantly demands playtime or attention if she is bored. Even if you’re watching tv or sitting at the computer, she’ll be on you and expect royal treatment! She’s a joy to have around the house and although she drives us crazy, we wouldn’t change her for the world.

Snuggles
Snuggles  was found wandering a local street close to our home. He was very weak and could hardly walk. We were called to see if we had room for him at our rescue shelter here in Pattaya, and we found a cosy bed for him, as you can see.

Hattie (black lab)
Hattieis a bundle of energy who enjoys finding sticks on walks through the woods, playing in her splash pool, digging in the grass, and exploring every nook and cranny of the house. She also spends much of her time attempting to win over the heart of her much bigger friend Yager the German Shepherd, which she is slowly but surely doing. Hattie impresses everyone she meets with her ability to sit, and she is looking forward to learning more commands so she can go duck hunting with her dad.

Name:
Cora
Age:
Four years old
Gender:
Female
Kind:
Guinea Pig
Home:
Essen, Nordrheinwestfalen, Germany
Here is my guinea pig, Cora, and she is actually four years old. She is the boss of all my guinea pigs, and always plays the diva. You can call her, but she doesn’t like it always, or respond if she does not want to. So she has the personality of a cat.
She is totally greedy and very strong. I also call her “the muscle pig” because she has more muscles then any pig I ever had. She has very special markings. There is no name for this coloration (cream with a black face) in guinea pigs, and she reminds me of a pug so I call her a short hair with “pug-markings.” She also makes some strange sounds when I pick her up. It sounds like a small grunt of a pug which is funny! But she also can yelp very loud! She has the strongest voice of all of my piggies, befitting a diva. She is a great pet!

Name:
Kade
Age:
Five years old
Gender:
Male
Breed:
Dog
Home:
Virginia, USA
This is KinKade Diego Tyson. (All my pets have three names.) Around here we just call him Kade unless he’s been bad. That’s when the full name is used and he knows it! He is a Golden Retriever/Lab/Pit Bull mix. He’s also my very best friend. I’ve had him since before he was born! We rescued his mom from the pound and found out she was pregnant! While the puppies were still in her stomach I would talk to her belly. Every time I said the name “Kade” he would kick in her belly! We were that close even then!
She had six beautiful puppies and out of all six Kade was the only boy! He’s a great dog and loves to go everywhere with me. We go hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway, on car rides, to the lake and sometimes just on little walks around our farm. He is very protective of me and gets jealous easily. He doesn’t like when I spend time with my other pets. He’s very sweet and one of the best dogs anyone could have asked for. I’m so glad he’s mine! I love him so much!

Name:
Opie
Age:
Four years old
Gender:
Male
Kind:
Orange Tabby
Home:
Frankfort, Kentucky, USA
When my cat, Max, passed away, my female cat, Sophie was left alone. I didn’t want her to be lonely when I was at work. I started searching on petfinder.org for a playmate. I came across Opie. He looked so sweet and adorable. I decided to call his foster mom to get some information. She said he was a very loving and affectionate kitten. She said he liked cats, dogs and humans. She also said that he just loved everybody. She then gave a little laugh and said, “Well he’s just a mess,” then laughed some more. Well, maybe, I should have taken that as a warning, but I didn’t. I filled out the adoption papers and I was accepted as a good adoptive parent. My sister and I went to get my new baby. I was so excited and happy. He was 6 months old at the time. I thought about changing his name because Sophie and Opie, just might be to confusing. I decided that I couldn’t change his name because, well, he’s Opie!
I got him home and Sophie was not as happy as I was to have a new kitty in the household. She hissed, she growled and she lashed out with her claws in warning. She did come to love her new little brother within a couple of months. She just couldn’t resist him. He was everything his foster mom said he was. A sweet, loving and very affectionate kitty. The “mess” part that she had mentioned turned out to be that he is very mischievous and full of energy. He is constantly into something or on the go. If he’s not lovingly grooming his sister, he’s picking on her. He doesn’t just want your affection and attention, he demands it and you just can’t help loving him.
